Each of us are at our very best when we lead with our strengths. The potential each of us have is realized when we take the fabric of who we are and what we do well and use it to lead the activities in business and in our lives.
With more than 23 years in the corporate world, most notably as Vice President of Global Brand Operations for a $500M organization, I have had the good fortune to cultivate leaders world wide and watch the business grow as they came into the fullness of leading with their strengths.
In my Executive Coaching I have coached hundreds of people on how to discover and use their natural 'wiring' so they can build a business utilizing their abilities and providing them with satisfaction in their work.
Today as CEO of Strength Leader Development LLC, I use my business and leadership experience to help others to come into the fullness of their potential. This is a great place for you to discover and build on yours!
When taken out of school at the age of 15 and put to work, I had no idea the small events and big people placed in my path would connect the dots of life in the insightful and successful ways they have, for which I am so grateful. Despite educational and financial challenges in early life, I’ve lived a mantra, 'The only limitations we have are those we impose upon ourselves,' and work diligently to be a student of life experiences, drawing from each, another shape on the page.
My professional experience includes serving as a Chief Learning Officer, Learning & Development Leader and consultant in organizations ranging from 2500 employees to one person small businesses. Since attending a Leadership Summit over 15 years ago, I have continuously learned from the greatest authorities on leadership, dedicating my efforts to bring leadership coaching and development to others.
One of my greatest strengths is the ability to take the seemingly complex and make it simple. I thoroughly enjoy facilitating learning which begins with self discovery, grows into self motivation and leads to impactful changes. As suggested by a great teacher, “we first learn to lead ourselves, before earning the right to come along side others. To build trust, a leader must exemplify competence, connection and character.” John Maxwell.
I would honor the opportunity to be of service to you and your organization to help put leadership in action.
I love the discipline and the pure art of good communication! Communication is at the heart of all relationships, including our business relationships, and it thrives on authenticity and creativity. Whether you are building a business, servicing a client, selling a product, or helping a person make life changes, you are influencing those interactions through your communication. Starting out with a business degree, I majored in Marketing/Advertising, minored in Economics, and worked in my early years as an Asst Vice President and Marketing Director for a bank. But as my husband and I started a family, I moved into direct sales in order to work from home to balance the priorities of work and family according to our vision. What a journey! Currently, I am an Independent Senior Sales Director for Mary Kay, and I've enjoyed a growing business for over 20 years.
CHANGE…mention it in a mixed crowd, and you will get several reactions. The “I-wired” get giddy at the mere mention of the word. Change means something new, and to anyone with shiny object syndrome, it is the magical key that releases them from the boredom of the mundane. Mundane to the “I-wired” is [...]

If you’ve ever walked or driven across a bridge (and this includes most of us), you know that every few feet, there are gaps in the surface. Now while it is unnerving to be high on a bridge and look down to see the water, this is actually a good thing. Those gaps are expansion [...]
